Prolly depends on the area; here there's a fad to offer vegan food, so everyone's trying to get in on it, and some put in no effort. But it's not necessarily good if expensive, it's specifically if they do some kind of fancy coffee, whether that's "artisan coffee" or just "vietnamese coffee"; it doesn't have to be super dear, just a bit unusual or requiring some prep. If the coffees are all things you can buy instant, it's not looking good for the vegan food. Maybe switch the rules to tea instead of coffee for Indian places.
