Also I like that so many of the reviews go like: "This place does the best pakoras in town. Perfect balance of crispy to spicy. The rest of the food is a bit rubbish, if I'm honest. I once got a kebab here and I had to throw it away. It said it was lamb but I don't even know what meat it was, unchewable stuff. Also they will try to charge you 20 quid for 2 samosas if they think you're drunk. I had to kick up a fuss. But really great pakoras."

Can't say fairer than that.

Also hm I was about to note that personally I find pakoras are a bit of a nothing food and I don't really get them, unlike bhaji, but the internet claims they're the same thing??? But I maintain that a pakora is just overly dry bland chicken in a kinda limp failed tempura, while the bhaji is great. Pakoras LOOK like they're gonna taste good but they never do. Bhaji are variable but are always much tastier. Maybe I've only ever had rubbish pakoras.
