Started Career of Evil (jkr). Loving how much Blue Oyster Cult there is in this book. :P It features jkr's most evil joke yet; I cackled. I'm only about 1/5 through it right now so can't say more; I have my suspicions of who is responsible and needless to say the person is not an official suspect so far. But we'll see how it goes!

Though actually, there's someone else who it would be really comical for it to be, and Rowling likes to troll. Otoh I'm usually right to stick with my first guess with these books. I will have to go back and see what I find...

Haha, no, with this one I was way off. I feel like it was a bit of a cheat tbh since Strike looked the guy in the eye and didn't recognise him, even though tbf she did cover her back by having Strike look at pics of someone he'd seen before and note that if he hadn't been told that was the same person he wouldn't've recognised them. She did say he was a big guy and I missed the surname connection, so those are on me, but I still felt most of the clues required the reader to have info from outside the book, so hrm. Maybe I'm just salty because I guessed loads of The Silkworm and I was hoping for another success. :P
