One of my favorite AO3 authors wrote a 'fic for my all-time favorite pairing. I've been looking forward to this ever since it was first teased almost a year ago.

Unfortunately, it also contains one of my least favorite tropes. Nothing wrong with the trope itself; it's just a personal squick of mine. I read it anyway because there are very few things I draw a hard line on and I really do enjoy this author's writing, but I definitely came away feeling conflicted.
