Date: 2022-03-26 09:55 am (UTC)I guess I'm nervous about learning things that turn out not to be true. Apparently they invented a mad uncle living in Russell's attic? That's quite the relative to invent! And have heard they lied (or got confused) about some other philosophers (apparently they present Frege as a raving antisemite who would go on racist rants to people, and there's an informational thing at the back where they claim he wrote multiple papers pushing Naziism. And it's not true; he made some antisemitic comments in his private diary, which surprised his biographer when he read them after Frege's death. Frege had a reputation for talking on and on about *logic*, not for promoting genocide. So I find it weird that they went so far as to make an informational glossary thing that was so inaccurate, and makes me wonder what they were using as their source material.).
