So, missed it at the time, but apparently stackoverflow got acquired by some form of vc firm last summer. I noticed when they said they were sunsetting stackoverflow Jobs and people were complaining, but also, wowwwww... I feel like this is worldwide infra that people don't really realise the significance of... and some random company can just buy it! I suppose it's archived... but I still wonder what would happen if it just vanished tomorrow, how many people wouldn't be able to do their jobs... i dunno, I feel like people are sleeping on this one.
