I like it when email spammers give me detailed sob stories. It feels like they're trying to filter their marks so that they'll only scam people who'd be willing to steal from a dying widow who wants to donate her money to charity.

Mine always tell me they caught me looking at porn and then add "you have nice taste, by the way." I'm glad to know that the phishers have excellent taste in gay anime boy ships and think cannibalism is peak romance.

:DDDD, I get those sometimes! But most of mine go something like, "Hello, my dear. God's blessings upon you and I hope this finds you well. My name is Mrs Leonora Elizabeth. My husband has sadly passed away last year and I am all alone, and I have just been told by the doctor that I have multiple diseases (cancer and parkinsons) and have 2 months to live. My children all died in a car crash. Before my husband died, he had made a sizeable fortune (15 million dollars) and it was his dying wish to invest it in orphanages and care for the poor and sick. I wish to continue his work, but I do not have much time. I therefore wish to transfer the money to you to carry out this work because you seem trustworthy. Please reply urgently, all praise to god, Mrs. Leonora Elizabeth."

You know, when you put it this way, I have a lot less sympathy for those willing to scam a dying widow. Also, get a lawyer Mrs Elizabeth...
