Hah, I think it clicked for me as a young teen just because I'm so incredibly weak physically I didn't have too much invested. I'm older now obv but my partner is the weakest guy he knows. He's short and small; his wrists are tiny skeleton wrists. But he's 10000000000000000000x stronger than me; we've tested it and he's always incredulous, 'Are you even trying to move at all???' tbf I'm way weaker than all my female friends too, though not to the same extent where they feel like 100% immoveable objects. I think my body is made of fat and not much else. Apparently my dad was legendarily bad at sports at school so I assume some of it's genetic. :P
