I've stopped interacting with fandom, honestly. I've always been more of a passive consumer, and my contributions are mostly in the form of translations, so I don't need to play the social media game to get eyes on my work.

It's not really a genderwoo thing for me; if anything, it's more that I've gotten old and I have very little tolerance for kids and their bullshit. Doesn't help that I enjoy "problematic" content as well, so I'm already used to avoiding the parts of fandom that constantly complain about their inability to use the block/mute button or close out of fanfiction they don't enjoy.

Nowadays, I just hang around in the Eastern portion of my fandoms, or, god forbid, on /a/. At least the insanity there is mostly shitposting.
