I think my brain has staaaarted to be able to read scores in my head. I'm noticing I'm getting a very faint image of music when I read it, reminds me of a photo negative? I've always wanted to be able to do this! Sometimes I can work things out consciously but this feels different, like my brain is trying to play the music from the sheet in the back of my mind automatically, very quietly. Like... it recognises patterns and it's trying to read it. Makes me wonder how much better it would be doing if I were a four year old. Oh well.
